„Bayernweite Tourismus-App geplant“

NACHGEFRAGT Christian Greilinger (26) über die Digitalisierung im Tourismus
Auch die Tourismus-Branche kommt um Digitalisierung nicht herum. Um den Tourismus im Landkreis und im Tegernseer Tal noch sichtbarer zu machen, beteiligt sich die Regionalentwicklung Oberland (REO) mit der Tegernseer Tal Tourismus GmbH (TTT) an der BayernCloud. Das Projekt der Bayern Tourismus Marketing GmbH (BayTM) wurde Ende Juli in Betrieb genommen. Projektmanager Christian Greilinger (26) von der REO erklärt im Gespräch, wie Gäste davon profitieren.
Herr Greilinger, kurz erklärt: Was ist die BayernCloud?
Die Bayern-Cloud ist eine bayernweite Daten-Sammelstelle. In jeder Region werden touristische Daten gepflegt, zum Beispiel über Wandertouren, Veranstaltungen oder Gastronomiebetriebe. Technisch ist jedes dieser Objekte ein Datensatz, der Informationen enthält, zum Beispiel Tourenverlauf oder Öffnungszeiten. Der Sinn hinter der Cloud ist, dass die Daten bayernweit gesammelt und dann einheitlich und strukturiert zur Verfügung gestellt werden.
Waren die Daten vorher nicht einheitlich?
Sie können sich sicherlich vorstellen, dass bayernweit jede Region ihre Daten ein bisschen anders pflegt. Bei den einen heißt es beispielsweise „Adresse“, bei den anderen „Anschrift“. Für uns ist damit zwar dasselbe gemeint, für einen Computer wären das aber zwei unterschiedliche Datenfelder. In der Bayern-Cloud werden solche Unterschiede auf einen einheitlichen Standard gebracht.
Wie betrifft das die Nutzer im Tegernseer Tal?
Zunächst haben die Bürger keinen direkten Kontakt, weil es ein technisches Backendsystem ist. Für die Endnutzer verändert sich erst einmal wenig, es ist eher eine unsichtbare Veränderung.
Welche Vorteile bietet die Cloud dann?
Unsere Daten von REO und TTT sind an die Landkreisgrenzen gebunden. Mit der Cloud ist ein offener Datenaustausch über diese Grenzen hinaus möglich. Für die Datenlieferanten, also Tourismusorganisationen, Verbände und Betriebe, bedeutet das einen geringeren Aufwand im Datenmanagement.
Profitieren die Bürger und Touristen davon, auch wenn sie es nicht merken?
Nutzer profitieren von einer höheren Datenqualität und -verfügbarkeit. Viele konkrete Anwendungsmöglichkeiten werden sich im Laufe der Zeit noch ergeben. Darauf haben wir aber keinen Einfluss, weil die Cloud ein Projekt der BayTM ist.
Welche Anwendungen wären das konkret?
Konkret ist zum Beispiel ein Karten-Widget geplant. Diese Karte können Unternehmen, zum Beispiel Hotels, auf ihrer Website anzeigen lassen. Die Karte zeigt dann den Standort der Gäste an und welche Touren oder Sehenswürdigkeiten es in der Nähe gibt. Geplant ist auch ein Schneebericht. Er bringt Wintersportdaten aus verschiedenen Quellen zusammen. Auf einen Blick sieht man dann, welche Lifte und Pisten gerade geöffnet sind, wie viel Schnee vor Ort liegt und welche Loipen befahrbar sind – Informationen, die man sich bisher mühevoll aus unterschiedlichen Quellen zusammensuchen musste.
Und dieser Bericht wird dann auch auf Websites gebaut?
Ja, zum Beispiel von Hotels. Die Informationen werden auch gesammelt an große Wintersportportale weitergegeben. Vorstellbar ist auch, dass die Informationen auf Bildschirmen in den Gästeinfos angezeigt werden.
Die Cloud erleichtert Ihnenalso die Arbeit?
Ja. Um ein konkretes Beispiel zu nennen: Wir verwenden das Tourenportal Outdooractive, wo wir Beschreibungen von Wanderrouten online stellen. Natürlich konnten wir auch vor der Cloud schon Wanderrouten auf anderen Portalen einpflegen. Wenn sich aber in der Tourenbeschreibung etwas geändert hat, mussten wir das in allen Portalen händisch anpassen. Dank der BayernCloud reicht es jetzt, die Daten einmal in der Ursprungsquelle anzupassen. Über die Cloud werden die überarbeiteten Daten dann auch in den anderen Portalen automatisch aktualisiert.
Könnte auch eine Tourismus-App kommen?
Die BayTM plant eine bayernweite Tourismus-App, die auf den Daten aus der BayernCloud basiert. Am Anfang gibt es jetzt aber erst einmal kleine Lösungen wie die Karte oder den Schneebericht.
Was haben TTT und REO zur Cloud beigetragen?
Wir als Alpenregion Tegernsee-Schliersee sind mit über 4300 Datensätzen der zweitgrößte Datenlieferant und haben damit einen guten Teil zu diesem Digitalisierungsprojekt beigetragen. Wir sind jetzt gespannt, welche Anwendungsmöglichkeiten sich daraus ergeben.
